One of Peter's current projects is a musical adaptation of his play 'Generations Apart'. It allows him to combine his keen interest in music with one of his highly successful plays. An instrumental version of one of the new original songs, DREAMERS AND DRIFTERS, is the audio background for this page. 
 
Development work on the musical will continue through to the end of the year. As with the play, the casting is to be small/flexible and the setting remains the single exterior cliff top. The finished piece will have a roughly even mix of dialogue and original music, ensuring that both cast and audience are kept on their toes with a lively pace.!  
 
One of the major reasons for choosing GENERATIONS APART was that it allows a delightful combination of modern (90's) music and a range of styles of music of the late 1960's. In keeping with the original play, the music and lyrics are a mixture of the humorous and the poignant. As with much of Peter's work, 'tongue remains firmly in cheek' for many of the songs.
